When you begin, you move forward. That's the mantra of ABN AMRO’s new brand campaign 'Voor ieder begin' (For every beginning). The pay-off embodies the mentality of drive and progress typical to the leading bank. This initial campaign marks the start of the brand's refresh, to regain significance in the hearts of the target audience and ensure an improved brand consideration. We developed the new positioning, brand identity and campaign as lead agency.

The insight

ABN AMRO is there for people with drive who want to progress in life on a personal, business, and societal level. Drive is a fantastic resource to tap into, which we translated into the action ‘begin’. Whether it’s small, big, for yourself or someone else, as long as you begin, you move forward. Supported by the bank's expertise.

The idea

With ‘For every beginning’ we claim ‘begin’. We captured this a human way with significant moments of starting something and emotional moments of breakthrough. With the qualities of director Paul Geusebroek to make films feel great and energetic, we captured human drive and forward energy in every shot.

The result

‘For every beginning’ launched on TV, online, social media, (D)OOH, and radio in the first quarter of 2024. Featuring a refreshed brand identity, where the iconic shield comes to life in a ‘ripple’ in various dynamic applications. This is just the start, throughout the year more campaigns and brand expressions will follow in line with the new positioning.
